I'm sure this has happened to you, I know it's happened to me, looking to capture a quick video - you select the camera app on your iPhone and then realize your in photo mode, by the time you switch over the moment is gone. I found this app through wired.com, it starts recording the second you select the app. Very cool - and hopefully, no more missed opportunities:

I discovered this card game a number of years ago and thought it would be a great way to introduce basic math to my kids in a way that they would enjoy.
